Explainer videos for people who teach and learn

Turn your lesson, notes or PDF into a narrated explainer film.

Frametell makes hand-drawn explainer animation, not AI-generated realistic video. An AI director plans the storyboard with you, then writes the script, voices it and draws every page.

Made for people who explain things.

  • Students

Turn your lecture slides or class notes into a narrated review video that covers every slide, to study from before the exam.

  • Teachers & course creators

Turn a lesson plan or a textbook chapter into a two-minute film to open the class or put on your course page.

  • Trainers & L&D

Turn a policy, a process or a slide deck into a short explainer people watch to the end.

  • Faceless YouTube & newsletter educators

Run a faceless explainer channel: one idea a week — science, history, money, tech, books — with a voice and drawings, no camera and no animator.

Not for realistic people, characters or photo-to-video. Frametell draws explainers; it doesn’t film.

How it works

  1. 01

    Hand it what you have

Type a topic, or drop in a PDF, slides, a Word file, an EPUB or your notes.

  2. 02

    Approve the storyboard

Before anything is drawn, the director shows every page: what it shows and what it says. Change anything, then approve.

  3. 03

    It writes, voices and draws

The script is written and voiced, and every page is hand-drawn in the style you pick, timed to the words.

  4. 04

    Export, or point and change

Download a 1080p MP4, with and without subtitles. Want a page different? Point at it and say what.

Questions

Is this an AI video generator like Sora?

No. Frametell makes explainer animation: hand-drawn pages, narration and subtitles, built to make one idea clear. It doesn’t make realistic footage, real-looking people, characters or photo-to-video. If that’s what you need, a video generator is the better tool.

What can I start from?

A one-line topic, or your own material: PDF, Word, PowerPoint, EPUB, Markdown or images. The director reads it and proposes a storyboard for you to approve.

How long are the films?

Frametell is at its best with explainers of one to three minutes.

Which languages does it speak?

English and Chinese, for both the narration and the subtitles.

Can I use the films in my course or on my channel?

Yes. You own them and can use them commercially. Films made on Free carry a small Frametell mark.

Is my material used to train models?

No. What you upload is used only to make your films, and you can delete it any time.
