PDF to video, with AI

Turn a PDF into a narrated explainer video.

Drop in a paper, a report, a handout or a book chapter. Frametell reads all of it, plans the film with you, writes the script, voices it and hand-draws every page. You get an MP4, not a slideshow of your pages.

From PDF to video in four steps

  1. 01

    Drop in the PDF

Up to a whole document. Frametell reads every page and tells you how long a film that covers all of it would run, and what it costs, before you start.

  2. 02

    Approve the storyboard

The director turns the document into pages: what each one shows and what it says. Cut, reorder or rewrite any of them, then approve.

  3. 03

    It writes, voices and draws

The narration is written from your PDF and voiced, and every page is drawn in the style you pick, timed to the words.

  4. 04

    Download the MP4

A 1080p video with subtitles burned in, and one without. Want a page different? Point at it and say what.

What a PDF becomes

  • A paper or a report

The argument in two or three minutes: the question, what was found, why it matters. For a class, a lab meeting or a team that won’t read 30 pages.

  • A handout or a textbook chapter

A lesson students can watch before class or revise from before the exam, with every key point drawn and said out loud.

  • A policy, a manual or a guide

The steps people need, as a short film they actually finish: onboarding, safety, how a process works.

  • A book or a long read

One idea from it, explained well, for a channel, a newsletter or a book club.

Not for realistic people, characters or photo-to-video. Frametell draws explainers; it doesn’t film.

Questions

Can AI turn a PDF into a video?

Yes. Frametell reads the PDF, writes a script from it, voices the script and draws a picture for every part of it, so the result is a narrated explainer video rather than your pages scrolling past.

Is it a PDF to video converter?

Not a page-by-page one. A converter shows each page of your PDF for a few seconds. Frametell explains what the PDF says: new pictures, a script and a voice. If you need your exact pages on screen, export them as a slideshow instead.

How long can the PDF be?

As long as you like. Frametell tells you how many minutes a film covering all of it would take. Films are at their best at one to three minutes, so for a long document you can pick the part that matters or make several films.

Is it free?

You start with 500 free credits, about 2–3 one-minute films. After that, plans start at $20 a month.

Which languages?

The narration and the subtitles can be English or Chinese, whichever language your PDF is in.

Is my PDF used to train AI?

No. It is used only to make your film, and you can delete it any time.
