Pick a plan for how many films you make.

Every plan has the same AI director, and its films are just as good. Every plan draws in every style. A plan decides how many films you make each month and what your exports render on.

Film counts are a range for one-minute films: the high end is a Chalkboard film made without changes (about 150 credits), the low end a typical film with a busier style or a change or two (about 200). Busy styles like Pop comic or Paper Collage use more credits, and so does asking for changes.

How credits work

A one-minute Chalkboard film is about 150 credits; busy styles take more, and changes cost what they use. Writing it, drawing every page, the voice and the export all come out of one balance, and you see the estimate before a film starts.

You see it before you spend it
Each film shows what it will take before the director starts, and the meter runs live while it works.
Changes cost what they use
Pointing at a page and asking for something different costs only that change. Exporting the same film again is free.
Our failures are on us
If a film fails on our side, every credit it used comes back.
Plan credits reset every month
A plan’s credits come on its subscription day each month, a yearly plan’s too, and what is left resets at the next one. A pack’s credits last a year.

Questions

Can I use my films commercially? Who owns them?

You do, and you can use them commercially. Films made on Free carry a watermark and can be used the same way.

Is my material used to train models?

No. What you upload is used only to make your films, and you can delete it any time.

How long can a film be?

Frametell is at its best with explainers of one to three minutes. Longer films can be made; we are still refining them.

Which languages does it speak?

Chinese and English, for both the narration and the subtitles.

Why do some films take more credits?

Credits follow the work a film takes. Pages with many moving parts, or styles like Pop comic, Paper Collage or Vector Science, take more to draw than a Chalkboard page, so the same minute can cost more. Each film shows its estimate before it starts.

What happens if I run out of credits?

The film stops where it is and keeps everything done so far. Top up or upgrade, and the director carries on.

Can I change or cancel my plan? What happens to my credits?

Any time, in Manage billing. A cancelled plan runs to the end of the period you paid for, and its credits can be used until then. A pack’s credits still last a year.
