A Vyond alternative
Vyond alternative: explainers drawn, not acted.
Vyond is built for businesses: animated characters that lip-sync, templates, AI avatars, an editor and AI that turns a document into a video. Frametell makes something narrower. You hand it a topic or your material, approve a storyboard, and it makes a narrated, hand-drawn explainer, with no characters.

Hand it what you have
A one-line topic, or a PDF, slides, a Word file, an EPUB, Markdown or images.
- 02
Approve the storyboard
Before anything is drawn, the director shows every page: what it shows and what it says. Cut, reorder or rewrite, then approve.
- 03
It writes, voices and draws
The script is written and voiced, and every page is drawn in the style you pick, such as Mid-century Cartoon, Clay, Blueprint or Whiteboard, timed to the words.

Which one fits you
Frametell fits if the idea is the star
A process, a concept or a lesson, explained with drawings and a voice in one to three minutes. Good for a teacher, a creator, a trainer or a small team that wants a finished film from a document.
Vyond fits if you need characters
Its site describes characters you can direct, with lip-sync to a voice-over or text-to-speech, templates with settings and props, AI avatars, Vyond Go for turning an idea, document or URL into a video, translation, and enterprise brand and security controls. For scenes with people talking, Vyond is the better choice.
What Frametell doesn’t do
No characters, no lip-sync, no avatars, no realistic video, no timeline editor, no uploading your own voice-over. It draws explainers; it doesn’t act them out.
Not for realistic people, characters or photo-to-video. Frametell draws explainers; it doesn’t film.

Questions
Is there a free Vyond alternative?
Frametell is free to start: 500 credits when you sign up, about 2–3 one-minute films. After that, plans start at $20 a month. Films made on Free carry a small Frametell mark.
Can AI turn my training document into a video?
Yes. Drop in the PDF, Word file or deck. Frametell reads it, plans the pages with you, then writes, voices and draws a narrated explainer of what it says.
Does Frametell have characters or lip-sync?
No. Frametell draws explainers: pictures, diagrams and words that build as the narration goes. If your video needs characters who talk, Vyond is the better fit.
How do I change something I don’t like?
Point at the page and say what should be different: a picture, a line of the script, the order. There is no timeline to edit.
Is my material used to train AI?
No. It is used only to make your film, and you can delete it any time. You can use the films commercially.
